2.2.16 P150 to P156 (port 15)
P150 to P156 function as an I/O port. These pins also function as A/D converter analog input.
The following operation modes can be specified in 1-bit units.
(1) Port mode
P150 to P156 function as an I/O port. P150 to P156 can be set to input or output port in 1-bit units using port mode
register 15 (PM15).
(2) Control mode
P150 to P156 function as A/D converter analog input.
(a) ANI8 to ANI14
These are the analog input pins (ANI8 to ANI14) of A/D converter.
When using these pins as analog input pin, see Figure 11-46. Analog Input Pin Connection.
2.2.17 V
DD, EVDD0, EVDD1, VSS, EVSS0, EVSS1
(1) VDD, EVDD0, EVDD1
When using the 20- to 52-pin products, V
DD is the positive power supply pin. When using the 64-, 80-, 100-, and 128-
pin products, VDD is the positive power supply pin for P20 to P27, P121 to P124, P137, P150 to P156 and pins other
than ports.
EV
DD0 and EVDD1 are the positive power supply pin for ports other than P20 to P27, P121 to P124, P137, and P150 to
P156.
(2) V
SS, EVSS0, EVSS1
When using the 20- to 52-pin products, VSS is the ground potential pin. When using the 64-, 80-, 100-, and 128-pin
products, V
SS is the ground potential pin for P20 to P27, P121 to P124, P137, P150 to P156 and pins other than ports.
EV
SS0 and EVSS1 is the ground potential pin for ports other than P20 to P27, P121 to P124, P137, and P150 to P156.
Remark Use bypass capacitors (about 0.1
μ
F) as noise and latch up countermeasures with relatively thick
wires at the shortest distance to V
DD to VSS, EVDD0 to EVSS0 and EVDD1 to EVSS1 lines.
2.2.18 RESET
This is the active-low system reset input pin.
When the external reset pin is not used, connect this pin directly or via a resistor to V
DD.
When the external reset pin is used, design the circuit based on V
DD.
2.2.19 REGC
This is the pin for connecting regulator output stabilization capacitance for internal operation. Connect this pin to V
SS
via a capacitor (0.47 to 1
μ
F).
Also, use a capacitor with good characteristics, since it is used to stabilize internal voltage.
