Ensure that only the UPS Manager accesses the SITOP
UPS1600.
Note
Install the current version of the SITOP UPS
Manager so that you can use the full functional
UPS1600.

Functions of the SITOP UPS Manager
You can fulfill the following tasks using the SITOP UPS Manager :
● Configuration of the SITOP UPS1600 uninterruptible power supply and the battery
modules (see Chapter Configuring the SITOP UPS1600 (Page 119))
● Protect a computer or a computer network provided by the uninterruptible power supply
with the master-slave technique
● Data backup by controlled shutdown
● Alarm-controlled starting of any application (SMS, e-mail)
New functions from V4.71:
● OPC UA server as non-proprietary software interface.
● Sitting IP address and name in the SITOP UPS1600.
● Identifying SITOP UPS1600 by flashing LED SF.
By specifying additional applications and alarms, you define a comprehensive protection of
your computer or computer network.
The applications can be started depending on the following events:
● Supply voltage failure
● Restoration of the supply voltage
● State of the buffer readiness by the UPS:
– General buffer readiness
– Remaining buffer time
● Status of the UPS battery:
– Battery replacement required
– Battery charge
