1 Attach the shunt release to the rear of
the motor starter protector.
2 Press the shunt release to the motor
starter protector until you hear it
engage.






1 Press the clips on the top and bottom
of the shunt release together.
2 Run a screwdriver between the shunt
release and the motor starter
protector. Dislodge the shunt release
from the motor starter protector by
carefully turning the screwdriver.
3 Remove the shunt release from the
side of the motor starter protector.




