Menu Operation
Overview
The MLS-X1 menu is a web-based application.
The menu can be operated using the touch panel of a
comp
uter (tablet or PC) connected to the switcher system
network. The menu can also be operated using a mouse.
In this manual, “press” is used to indicate a tap or click
op
eration of menu buttons.
Some menus require administrator privileges to operate.
Menu Operating Environment
• Operation is not guaranteed with all combinations of
operating systems and browsers.
• Menu operation may be different or the menu may not
f
unction correctly depending on the peripheral devices
used, such as mouse and keyboard.
• It is recommended that you connect using encrypted
co
mmunication (https://) when accessing the URL of
the menu.
• Operation cannot be guaranteed if there are five or more
ta
bs open in the browser.

Up to 16 sessions are supported. (If MLS Manager is

unning on the primary box, up to 16 sessions counting
the MLS-X1 menu.)
Installing a Root Certificate
A root certificate must be installed on the computer in
order to use the menu.

Access the certificate download page.
Enter the URL of the certificate download page in a
br
owser.
“http://IP address of download page/doc/Certificate/”
Enter one of the following IP addresses of logical box
1 (
primary box) of the corresponding logical switcher
as the IP address of the certificate download page.
• IP address displayed on the control panel display
• Address of standard interface 1 of logical box 1
(
primary box) of the corresponding logical
switcher, which is set in the MLS Manager Home >
System > Island > Box Network menu (60211.05)
of MLS Manager
For details about settings, see “Configuring Box
Network Settings” (page 470).
It is set to “192.168.100.1” by default.

Download a root certificate.

Install the root certificate.
The installation method may vary depending on your
