The procedures
in
this section provide the following information:
Title of test
Equipment required (if applicable)
Procedure
Where instructed to use a
front-panel control or select from a menu, the
name appears
in
boldface type. For example, "press VERTICAL MENU;
then "set CPLG to DC."
The symbol at the left
is
accompanied by information you must read
to do the procedure
properly.
These procedures make references to the graticule lines. For example,
"position
the cursor to the second vertical graticule line." Figure
4-1
shows
how to interpret the references.

These procedures may ask you to check for a stable display. A stable dis-
play
is
consistent. The display should not have its trigger point switching
slopes (double trigger) nor should it "free-run." The MAIN SWP TRIG'D
LED
should remain lit.
