Precautions for Crusher Operation
Preventmachinetippingoveranddamagetothefront
attachment.Observethefollowingprecautionsforcrusher
operation.

WARNING: Machine stability is reduced as crusher is
much heavier than the bucket. When operating with
a crusher, the machine is more apt to tip over. Falling
or flying objects may hit the cab or other part of the
machine. Observe the following precautions and take
any other precautions necessary to prevent accidents
and machine damage from occurring.
Donotallowthemachine'sweighttobesupportedby
thecrusherorbucketcylinderwiththebucketcylinder
fullyextendedorretracted.Failuretodosomayresult
in damage to the front attachment. In particular, avoid
doingsowiththebucketcylinderfullyextended,asthe
front attachment will be easily damaged.
Takecaretopreventthisfromhappeningwhen
dismantling foundation structures using the crusher.
Using the front attachment, do not raise the base
machine off the ground with the arm cylinder fully
extended.Failuretodosomayresultindamagetothe
arm cylinder.
Whenaheavyweightattachmentsuchasacrusheris
installed,avoidquicklystartingorstoppingthefront
attachment. Failure to do so may result in damage to the
front attachment.
Donotattempttoperformcrushingoneithersideofthe
machine. Always perform crushing operations to the fore
orrear,parallelwiththetracks.Otherwise,tippingover
may occur.
