System I/O Settings
This section describes system I/O settings for the printer. To view these
settings:
From the printer Main Menu, select Settings > System Settings >
Manage I/O.
From the printer web page, click the Configure tab, System
Settings > Manage I/O.
New Line Character Defines the characters that the printer
echoes to the host to indicate that it has
moved to a new line.
CR/LF
RS-485 Printer
Address
Sets the RS-485 protocol address of the
printer. This address is used with
point-to-point or multidrop
communications.

Setting Description Default
Wireless 802.11 Determines if the printer is allowed to
communicate using its 802.11 radio.
Supported only if the optional
Wi-Fi+Bluetooth module is installed.
Enable
Bluetooth Determines if the printer is allowed to
communicate using its Bluetooth radio.
Supported only if the optional
Wi-Fi+Bluetooth module is installed.
Enable
RFID Determines if the printer is allowed to
communicate using its RFID radio. Supported
only if the RFID module is installed.
Enable
Virtual COM Determines if you can enable the USB port to
be used as a virtual serial port. When you
change this setting, you must restart the
printer to enable the new setting.
