Procedure
Step 1 Disconnect the male and female connectors on the cable delivered with the smoke detector, as
shown in Figure 4-41.

Step 2 Connect the non-RJ45 end (shown by (2) in Figure 4-42) of the delivered cable to the male
connector of the smoke detector.

4.6.7 Connecting Cables to Water Sensors
Prerequisites

Water sensor cables have been routed.

A monitoring cable required has been prepared.
Procedure
Step 1 Connect one end of the network cable that has been laid near the water detector to the
Ethernet port on the water detector.
