In this example, Device address is set to 1. During
actual configuration, set the device address for the
independent deployment AI_DI unit based on the
actual situation.
Step 3 Click Test Connect to check whether the standalone AI/DI module connects to the ECC800
properly.
If the independent deployment AI_DI unit connects to the ECC800 properly, click
Confirm.
If the independent deployment AI_DI unit is not properly connected to the ECC800,
check whether the cable between the standalone AI/DI module and the ECC800 is
connected properly, whether the standalone AI/DI module and ECC800 are running
properly, and whether the input parameters are the consistent with the external AI/DI
module parameters.

6.3.6 Commissioning the Sensor
6.3.6.1 Commissioning the Smoke Detector
Procedure
Step 1 Set smoke sensor parameters.
The parameter has been preset before delivery.
In this example, the smoke detector is connected to the AI/DI_1 port on the skylight actuator.
1. Log in to the ECC800 WebUI as an administrator.
2. Choose System Settings > Signal Name Modify. The Batch Signal Configuration
page is displayed.
3. Set Device type to ECC800, set Device name to ECC800, and click OK.
4. On the query result tab page, set the new signal name of AI/DI_3 to Smoke and click
Submit.
5. Choose Monitoring > System > ECC800 > Running Parameters > AI/DI_3 Port
Settings.
6. Set Smoke sensor to Enable and click Submit.
7. Confirm that Smoke sensor type is automatically identified as Smoke Sensor or Smoke
sensor(NC). Ensure that Smoke power supply is Yes.
Step 2 Check the monitoring functions of smoke sensor.
