2-1-20 Replacing the Head-up Cylinder (When the Head Revision Number Is A or
Later)
1) Cut off the air supply to the main unit.
2) Remove the nut from the tip of the air cylinder to remove the release bar.
3) Disconnect the φ4 air tube connected to the air cylinder.
4) Remove the air cylinder.
5) Remove the elbow union, speed controller, cylinder bracket and auto switch.
6) Assemble the removed parts and the new motor in the reverse procedure.
7) When you replace the speed controller with another one also, adjust the speed controller as

bar on the head-up cylinder.
* The release bar shall be assembled at a position far from the edge of the cylinder rod by 6 mm.
* The auto switch shall be assembled at a position far from the bottom edge of the cylinder by 3.5
mm.
* After assembling the parts, move the solenoid valve manually to check to see if the release bar
moves up and down smoothly.
<Procedure for adjusting the speed controller>
① Make two and a half turns of the speed controller to open it when it is closed completely so that
the rotation error between the left and the right can be 45 degrees or less.
