[2] PREPARATION
(1) Dismounting the Step and Floor Seat
Battery Cable
1. Open the bonnet.
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable (1).
NOTE
• When disconnecting the battery cables, disconnect the
grounding cable first. When connecting, the positive cable
first.

Draining Coolant
CAUTION
• Never remove the radiator cap until coolant temperature is
well below its boiling point. Then loosen cap slightly to the
stop to relieve any excess pressure before removing cap
completely.
1. Stop the engine and let cool down.
2. Disconnect the radiator hose (1) at the engine side.
3. Remove the radiator cap to completely drain the coolant.
4. After all coolant is drained, connect the radiator hose (1).
(When reassembling)
