Liquids and safety
Only use a dry or lightly damped cloth to clean the scanner. Prevent any liquids from leaking
into the scanner since these may cause electric shock, fires and short circuits. If such a leakage
does occur, ensure that the internal circuitry of the scanner is completely dry before attempting
to operate the scanner.
Do not store or operate the scanner in the presence of conductive fluids, like water or saline
solution. Conductive fluids can leak into unprotected areas, causing electric shock, fires and
short circuits.
