General errors

System error An internal error occurred, making it im-
possible for system to proceed
Use the power button on the front to re-
start the scanner.
If the problem persists, contact Philips.
System configuration prob-
lem
System is not configured properly.
Temperature error

The internal temperature is above the
maximum allowed temperature of 60±3
C.
See chapter “Check ventilation grids” on
page 74.
If the problem persists, contact Philips.
Software update failure Software update failed and the system
was not able to recover to the previous
version.
Contact Philips.
Calibration failed Calibration to keep the scanner within its
specifications failed.
Close the dialog on the user interface.
Clean the scanner, see chapter “Cleaning
instructions” on page 50.
Manually calibrate the scanner, see chap-
ter “Manual re-calibration” on page 91.
If the problem persists, contact Philips.
Door open

The store door or maintenance door is
opened, making it impossible for the
scanner to proceed.
If both doors are open, make sure that no
slides stick out of racks. Manually push
the handler to the right end. Close the
maintenance door and store door.
If only the maintenance door is open, se-
lect Unlock door and open the store
door. Make sure that no slides stick out
of racks. Manually push the handler to
the right end. Close the maintenance
door and store door.
If only the store door is open, close the
store door.
If the problem persists, contact Philips.
Initialization failed
1
Door not closed during initialization. Door
must be closed during initialization.
Close the door(s). If both doors are open,
close the maintenance door and then
close the store door. Select ‘Confirm to
continue the initialization.
If the problem persists, contact Philips.
