NOTICE
The image information sent to the IMS can be affected in the case of a skipped slide, causing
the digital images and digital cases to be incomplete. The user should check the completeness
of the digital image in the IMS and should take appropriate actions to minimize the impact of
an incomplete digital case.
Selected slide
The selected slide shows the slide information for the scanned slides:
A preview of the macro image, including an annotation of the scanned region.
A preview of the slide label.
The scan status of the slide.
For slides being scanned, a progress bar is shown.
NOTICE
If no user is logged on to the scanner while the scanner is busy scanning slides, the image of
the slide label is grayed out. (Only applicable for Restricted and Controlled access policies.)
Messages
Messages or information about the scanning process are displayed for a few seconds in the
area below the toolbar.

Indicator Status
Blue Success and general messages, e.g. 'Rack has been prioritized'.
Orange Warning messages, e.g. 'Priority is undone'.
Red An error occurred. See chapter “Error messages” on page 64.
