Structure of the parameter channel:
• PKE (1st word)
– Type of task (read or write).
– Bit 11 is reserved and is always assigned 0.
– Parameter number
• IND (2nd word)
– Parameter index
• PWE (3rd and 4th word)
– Parameter value
