4.9.1.1 TN line system
A TN system transfers the PE protective con‐
ductor to the installed plant or system using a
cable.
Generally, in a TN system the neutral point is
grounded. There are versions of a TN system
with a grounded line conductor, e.g. with
grounded L1.
A TN system can transfer the neutral conduc‐
tor N and the PE protective conductor either
separately or combined.
