90.0 Nm (9.2 m • kgf, 66.4 ft • lb)
5. Fill:
Reservoir
6. Install:
PTT fluid level check bolt
Air bleeding
1. Bleed:
PTT unit
Recommended PTT fluid:
ATF Dexron II

PTT fluid level check bolt:
7.0 Nm (0.7 m • kgf, 5.2 ft • lb)
Bleeding steps:
To close the manual valve, turn it
counterclockwise.
Set the PTT unit upright.
Connect the PTT motor leads to the
battery.
Tilt rod
(free piston)
PTT motor
lead
Battery
terminal
Up
Blue ++
++
Green --
--
Disconnect the PTT motor leads from
the battery when the free piston 1 is
at the top of the cylinder.
Remove the check bolt and make sure
the PTT fluid is up to the brim of the
filling hole. If not, add more PTT fluid
until it is to the proper level.
Install the PTT fluid level check bolt.
Connect the PTT motor leads to the
battery.
NOTE:
The sound of the PTT motor will change
when the free piston is at the top of the
cylinder a.
