36 Mechanical installation
Cabinet construction
The cabinet frame must be sturdy enough to carry the weight of the drive
components, control circuitry and other equipment installed in it.
The cabinet must protect the drive against
contact and meet the requirements for
dust and humidity (see the chapter Technical data).
Cooling and degrees of protection
The cabinet must have enough free space for the components to ensure sufficient
cooling. Observe the minimum clearances given for each component.

The air inlets and outlets must be equipped with gratings that
guide the air flow
protect against contact
prevent water splashes from entering the cabinet.
The temperature of the cooling air entering the uni
t must not exceed the maximum
allowed ambient temperature (see Ambient conditions in the chapter Technical data).
