An area is defined as a group of zones (see Page 99). An output can activate a condition
in an area by specifying the area number 1-99, and the function. Area functions could be
latched or unlatched, but not reported as an event.

An area coincidence is two or more zones allocated to the area in a fire alarm condition. It
is independent of zones in coincidence. *See Page 99
