About this chapter
Read this chapter attentively. It contains important information to prevent personal injury while installing and using a PHxx series
projector. Furthermore, it includes several cautions to prevent damage to the PHxx series projector. Ensure that you understand and
follow all s afety guidelines, safety instructions and warnings mentioned in this chapter before installing your PHxx series projector.
After this chapter, additional “warnings” and “cautions” are given depending on the installation procedure. Read and follow these
“warnings” and “ca utions” as well.
The User Manual is very impo rtant. Please read the User Man ual b efore using the produ ct. Keep the m anual
for reference.
Access to User Manual
The User M anual is av ailable o n the C D which is shipped with the p roduct. Perform the followi
ng to access the Use r Manu al from
the CD:
1. Insert the C D into the CD-ROM drive of a computer.
2. Browse to the root folder of the CD and click on “startup.exe” (only in case the CD doesn’t start automatically). As a result an
HTML window will open in the Internet Brow ser.
3. Select your product and navigate to the User Manual.
4. Click on the PDF link to open the Us er Manual.

operating and m aintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accom pany ing the applianc e.
