Assigning Line Passwords Using CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for setting fields displayed in the Line
Password page.
The following is an example of the CLI commands:
Defining Enable Passwords
The Enable Password page sets a local password to control access to Normal and Privilege levels. To open
the Enable Password page, click System → Management Security → Enable Passwords in the tree view.

The Enable Password page contains the following fields:
•
Select Enable Access Level
— Access level associated with the enable password. Possible field values
are 1-15.
•
Password (0-159 characters)
— The current enable password.
•
Confirm Password
— Confirms the new enable password. The password appears in the ***** format.
•
Aging (1-365)
— Indicates the amount of time in days that elapses before a password is aged out,
when selected.
