Accessing service utilities
WARNING
LOSS OF FUNCTION/EQUIPMENT DAMAGE/LOSS OF
DATA — The Service Utilities are intended for use only by qualified
personnel with training and experience with their use.
Do not experiment with any commands other than those shown in
this manual.
The consequences of misuse include loss of patient data, corruption
of CIC Pro center or operating system software, or disruption of the
entire Unity Network MC network.
The service utilities provide several advanced and specialized functions for
configuring and troubleshooting the ATS. For more information about ATS service
utilities, see Service interfaces on page 4-1.
Safe shutdown/restart of the ATS
WARNING
LOSS OF MONITORING — If it is necessary to shut down the ATS
and a care unit has only one working ATS, notify the site’s
biomedical department to provide alternate bedside patient
monitoring. See Establish alternate monitoring methods on page B-
3.
Follow these steps for performing safe shutdown of the ATS:
1. Log onto the Webmin service interface on page 4-7.
2. Select the Configuration tab.
3. Select ATS Control > ATS Control.
