8. Lift the CD ROM drive off of the CD/hard drive carrier.

9. Reverse the steps in this procedure to install the CD ROM drive.
CPU fan
1. Complete the preparation procedures. See Field replacement preparation on page
7-3.
2. Remove the chassis cover. See Chassis cover on page 7-6.
3. Disconnect the CPU fan power connector from the left front corner of the CPU
main board. Note the position and orientation of the connector for reassembly.

4. Rotate the latches securing the memory card out and down. Remove the memory
card from the slot in the CPU main board.
