3. CHECKING AND ADJUSTING
[1] MAIN GEAR SHIFTING
(1) ROPS Model
Checking Function of Main Gear Shift
1. Check the function of the main gear shift.
• Neutral position to 1st gear position.
• Neutral position to 2nd gear position.
• Neutral position to 3rd gear position.
• Neutral position to 4th gear position.
• Neutral position to 5th gear position.
2. If shifting is not smooth, check the length of select shift rod (3).
The main shift cable (1) and select cable (2) are fixed at the
center of thread.
3. Adjust the front and rear stopper bolt (5) and (4) length with
initial adjustment and check the overshift is available or not.
If the overshift is not available, adjust the front and/or rear
stopper bolt (5) and (4).
4. Adjust the main shift cable (1) is fixed at the center of thread.
Adjust the select cable (2) retaining position "L4" and "L5" for
the references.
