Completeness/timeliness of spare parts lists
The following spare parts lists were correct at the time this documentation was issued. Interim
changes or updates are not included. You can nd information about the latest spare parts in the
catalogs and on the Internet. If necessary contact your Siemens contact at:

WARNING
Danger for operating personnel/device failure
All spare parts in the spare parts lists are listed with the classications "1", "2" or "*" and are
available for order. This classication indicates a permission for use. You must therefore note
the following:
• The use of Class 2 spare parts is allowed only after appropriate training provided by Siemens
AG.
The use of Class 2 spare parts without prior training has the following consequences:
– The device can fail completely and can thus become a danger for the operating
personnel.
– The device can lose its measuring capability.
– Each of these cases voids the manufacturer warranty of the device/module.
• The general information contained in this document apply to qualication for Class 1 spare
parts. Additional training by Siemens AG is not required.
• For the spare parts marked with *) we do not recommend repair on site. Instead, you should
send in the device for repair to our Repair Center as repair on site may void the technical
specications.

Note
In case of an upgrade with option modules at a later time, you also need to order the cable sets
in addition to the required modules. For example, you need a VM-OM1 data cable and a KB-
OM1.x connecting cable for an OM 1, and an AM - OM2.x connecting cable and a KB - OM2.x
connecting cable for an OM2.x.
