Printer Inoperable after Power Switch is On
No mechanical initialization observed after the Power Switch is turned On. One
possible cause of this condition is the protection circuitry on the LVPS has detected
an overload condition and temporarily stopped all output. This protective shutdown
lasts no more than 5 minutes following removal of the overload.
Initial Actions
■Turn off the printer’s Power Switch and remove the Power Cord.
â– Remove the Image Processor board (page 8-110).
â– Wait 5 minutes before restoring power to allow the protection circuitry to reset.
Note
The Control Panel and indicator LEDs are disabled during print engine testing
with the Engine Only Test Print.
