CLEANING THE V-BELT CASE AIR FILTER
ELEMENT
1. Remove:
• V-belt case air filter cover “1”
• V-belt case air filter element
2. Clean:
• V-belt case air filter element “1”
Blow compressed air onto the outer surface
of the V-belt case air filter element.
3. Check:
• V-belt case air filter element
Damage → Replace.
NOTICE
ECA13440
Since the V-belt case air filter element is a
dry type, do not let grease or water contact it.
4. Install:
• V-belt case air filter element
• V-belt case air filter cover

CHECKING THE THROTTLE BODY JOINT
1. Remove:
• Storage box
Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS” on page 4-1.
2. Check:
• Throttle body joint “1”
Cracks/damage → Replace.
3. Install:
• Storage box
Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS” on page 4-1.

CHECKING THE FUEL HOSE
1. Remove:
• Storage box
Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS” on page 4-1.
2. Check:
• Fuel hose “1”
Cracks/damage → Replace the fuel injector
assembly.
Loose connection → Connect properly.
3. Install:
• Storage box
Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS” on page 4-1.

CHECKING THE BREATHER HOSES
1. Remove:
• Storage box
Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS” on page 4-1.
2. Check:
• Cylinder head breather hose “1”
• Transmission case breather hose “2”
Cracks/damage → Replace.
Loose connection → Connect properly.
NOTICE

Make sure the cylinder head breather hose
and transmission case breather hose are
routed correctly.
