9.36 CR Encoder Strip
(1) Release the Lock of the Encoder strip spring and remove the CR encoder strip and
the spring.
Note: Take care not to scratch the CR encoder strip. If it is stained or scratched,
replace it with a new one.

(Carriage motor side) and the mark points upwards.
