[Scan]>[Image Quality]
Black/White Threshold
This feature allows you to assign the halftone
pixels of the document to black or white.
When [Output Color/Halftone] is set to [Black &
White], you can select the threshold value from
255 levels.
Note • When [Output Color/Halftone] is set to [Color],
[Grayscale], or [Halftone], this option cannot be
set.
[Scan]>[Image Quality]
Adjust Color Density
This feature allows you to adjust the density of
the document on a color-by-color basis.
Density can be calibrated in seven levels for
each Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Violet,
and Black.
Note • When [Output Color/Halftone] is set to [Color],
this option cannot be set.
 [Adjust] checkbox
Selecting the checkbox activates the [Adjust
Color Density] feature.
Density can be calibrated in seven levels for each Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue,
Violet, and Black.
Use [ ] [ ] to calibrate each density level.
The higher the level is set, the lighter the color will become.
For example, sliding the marker on the Red color bar allows you to darken or lighten
(to colorless) the red portions of the image.

Adjust Color Saturation
This feature allows you to adjust the saturation
(vividness) of the document on a color-by-color
basis.
Saturation can be calibrated in seven levels for
each Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Violet,
and Black.
Note • To use this feature, the color scan feature
(optional) is required.
• When [Output Color/Halftone] is set to [Black &
White], [Grayscale], or [Halftone], this option
cannot be set.

Selecting the checkbox activates the [Adjust Color Saturation] feature.
In Black/White
Threshold
feature,
the color of
the original
can be simply
separated into
black and white.
The threshold
value can also
be freely set.
