[Scan - More Features] screen
The [More Features] screen allows you to configure settings such as scan size and
scan start position.
Note • Items and buttons displayed with thin dotted lines are disabled.
[Scan]>[More Features]
Scan Size
This feature allows you to specify the scanning
size of the document.
 Auto Detect
Recognizes the document size automatically.
 Preset Size
Displays the available scan sizes that have been
set with System Settings.
See • For details of setting the scan sizes to be displayed, refer to "Preset Size Buttons" (P.243).
 Custom Size
Set the length in the X-direction in the range of
100 to 914mm, and in the Y-direction within the
range of 100 to 15000mm, in 1mm increments.
[Scan]>[More Features]
Edge Erase
This feature allows you to prevent shadows along the edges of the document from
appearing on the scanned data.
Note • When setting Reduce/Enlarge, the Edge Erase amount is also reduced or enlarged in pro-
portion to the set ratio.
• For details of the area of the document that can be scanned, refer to "Image Loss" (P.267).
 Normal Erase
The edge erase amount is set to 0mm in the X and Y directions.
