Step 17b (conditional): Remove the inner rails from the server
module
If the S30 Node was returned racked, the inner server module mounting
rails are attached to the server module. If the S30 Node was returned
unracked, the inner rails may still be attached to the server module. In
either case, too, you need to remove the inner rails from the server module.
You need to remove both inner rails from the sides of the server module.
To remove an inner rails from the server module:
1. While lifting the metal tab covering the second hole from the back on
the inner rail, slide the rail toward the front of the server module as far
as the rail goes.
2. Pull the rail off the server module.
Step 17c: Remove the outer server module rails from the rack
If the S30 Node was returned racked, you need to remove both outer
mounting rails for the server module from the rack.
