Where,
T1ON, T1OFF, are ON and OFF period for first ring cadence and T2ON, T2OFF, are ON and OFF period for
second ring cadence. Waveform for 'ring', is Sine Wave.
If the ATA211 is defaulted, 'Ring' parameters will not get default values.
First Digit Wait Timer
• First digit wait timer signifies the time for which the system waits for the user to dial a digit after going OFF-
Hook. On expiry of this timer, the system will give error tone to the user. It is programmable from 01 to 99
seconds. By default, the Fist Digit Wait Timer in ATA211 is set to 15 seconds.
Inter Digit Wait Timer
• Inter Digit Wait Timer signifies the time period between dialing of two consecutive digits. If the user does
not dial the next digit before expiry of this inter digit wait timer, then ATA211 will process the digits dialed so
far by the user. The range of Inter Digit Wait Timer is 01 to 99 seconds. By default, it is 5 seconds.
Play Routing Tone?
• If this feature is set to 'Yes', ATA plays Routing tone when the call is initiated from FXS/FXO and is routed
from any 'SIP Account.
• It can be configured as Yes or No for the parameter 'Play Routing Tone?'. If this parameter is programmed
as "Yes", ATA will play routing tone to the FXS/FXO port user when call is made through the SIP account.
If this parameter is programmed as "No", ATA will not play the routing tone to the FXS/FXO port user when
call is initiated on SIP account. The caller will get Busy tone or RBT or Error tone as per the response
received. By default it is 'Yes'.
Port Release Timer
Many times after call disconnection, the FXO port involved in a call remains connected (off-hook), despite there is
no real conversation through the port. Hence during this condition, the call is required to be disconnected after
specified time duration. To achieve this, the ATA supports 'Port Release Timer' to release the FXS/FXO/SIP. On
expiry of port release timer, any type of call will be released. This Timer is applicable for each call made through
FXS/FXO/SIP of ATA211.
