Enable Port Release Timer?: Select this as Yes/No. Select 'Yes' if this feature is required for the ATA. By
default, it is 'Yes'.
Port Release Timer: This timer will be applicable only if you have enabled the Parameter 'Enable port
release timer?'. This timer will be useful to restrict long duration calls. You can program the timer from 001
to 999 Minutes. By default, it is 999 Minutes.
VoIP Silence Disconnect Timer
If during speech, no voice packets are received on IP, the call is required to be disconnected. For this, the ATA
supports a feature to detect the silence during VoIP calls. If this silence duration exceeds the specified value, the
call will be disconnected.
This timer is applicable for all SIP calls made through ATA211.
Enable VoIP Silence Disconnect Timer?: Select this as Yes/No. Select it as 'Yes' if this feature is
required for the ATA. By default it is 'Yes'.
VoIP Silence Disconnect Timer: This timer is applicable if you have enabled the parameter 'VoIP Silence
Disconnect Timer'. You can program the timer from range 01 to 99 Minutes.
If the silence duration exceeds this programmed value, the call will be disconnected.
By default, it is 99 Min.
Transfer Notification Timer
This timer signifies for how much time ATA will wait for the call transfer notification from the remote peer.
User can select the timer value from 01 to 99 seconds.
By default it is 60 seconds.

Enable Forward Error Correction?
Forward Error Correction (FEC) is used for data transmission whereby ATA211 adds redundant data to its
messages, which allows the receiver to detect and correct errors without asking the sender for additional
data.
Select 'Yes' (enable) to reduce error and for improved voice quality.
By default "Forward Error Correction" is No.
Voice Activity Detection
Voice Activity Detection (VAD) is a software application which allows data network, carrying voice traffic over the
internet to detect the absence of audio and conserve bandwidth by preventing the transmission of 'Silent Packets'
over the network.
Enable VAD?: Select 'Yes' if ATA is required to support VAD (also called 'Silence Suppression') feature.
Else select 'No'. By default, it is No.
Default 'Admin' password when 'User' defaults the ATA?
When user (who has login with User Password) defaults ATA211, only limited parameters get defaulted. These are
the parameters which User is allowed to access through Jeeves. Parameters which are not accessible by 'User' do
not get defaulted. However, this parameter, provides flexibility to default even the Admin password also, when the
'User' defaults the ATA.
