Reinstate the Default
Settings
• Matrix ATA211 enables the user to default the system parameter or to reset the system by using 'System
Default' feature. This feature will set parameters to factory set values but setting default values to the
parameters will depend on the login type i.e. login by 'User password' or 'Admin password'.
ATA supports following methods to default the system:
1. Default System through Web Jeeves
2. Default System using SLT command
Default System through Web Jeeves
For Resetting ATA211 through the Web page, you should follow the steps shown below:
• Open the Web Jeeves of ATA211 and click on 'Default the ATA' link. (Both Admin and User can access this
Web page).
• Alert Window will appear: 'This option will assign default values to the programmable parameters and
will restart the system. Do you want to continue?' click on 'OK' or 'Cancel'.
• If you click on 'OK' the parameters will be assigned default values and if you click on 'Cancel' the
parameters will not be assigned default values.
Default System using SLT command
• Enter the programming mode with Admin or User Password. For relevant commands refer “Configuring
using Phone” in chapter "Knowing SETU ATA211".
• To default the system using SLT, use following command:
21-Reverse User Password-#*
Enter reverse 'User' password if you have logged in as 'User'
Enter reverse 'Admin' password if you have logged in as 'Admin'
In case you forgot the password, use the Access Code '#***' to default the 'Admin' and 'User' Passwords.
