You can make maximum of two simultaneous calls.
Making second call feature is also used with other features such as Call Transfer-Attended, Call Toggle
and 3-Party Conference.
Call Transfer
Call Transfer helps the transferor to connect the transferee to the transfer target.
ATA211 will wait for the notification from the remote peer till expiry of 'Transfer Notification Timer'. The 'Transferor'
will be notified about Transfer Failure/ Error or Transfer Successful or Transfer Timeout (Default timer is 60
seconds). Transferor will get confirmation tone if call transfer is successful.
Call Transfer-Blind
Call transfer without consulting the party to whom call is to be transferred is called Blind Transfer. Ensure that
feature is enabled in Class of Service. Refer “Class of Service” in chapter FXS Port.
How it works?
You can perform following types of transfer activity:
• You can transfer the PSTN call to the transfer target on IP.
• You can transfer the IP call to the transfer target on PSTN.
• You can transfer the IP call to the transfer target on IP.
Blind Transfer feature is applicable only from FXS port.
To know the call transfer results, 'A' should remain off-hook after dialing C's number.
• 'A' gets confirmation tone for 3 seconds followed by Dial tone if transfer is successful. 'A' gets error tone
followed by disconnecting the call, if call transfer is not successful.
Call Transfer-Attended
Call Transfer after consulting the party to whom the call is to be transferred is called Attended Transfer. Ensure that
feature is enabled in Class of Service. Refer “Class of Service” in chapter FXS Port.
How it works?
You can perform following types of transfer activity:
• You can transfer the PSTN call to the transfer target on IP.
• You can transfer the IP call to the transfer target on PSTN
• You can transfer the IP call to the transfer target on IP
A is in speech with B
A dials Flash-#6 B goes on hold. A gets dial tone.
A dials number of C B in speech with C
A is in speech with B
A dials Flash B goes on hold. A gets feature tone.
A dials number of C A in speech with C
A dials Flash-#7 B in speech with C
