How to program?
Open the Web Jeeves and click on 'FXS Port' link. (Only Admin can access this Webpage). The Webpage will be
as shown below:
• Auto PSTN Fallback: Select Yes to enable the feature or No to disable the feature. Default is disable.
Special Features
ATA211 supports following special features:
• Peer to Peer Calls
• Multi Stage Dialing through SIP and FXO
• Multiple Gateway Application
Peer to Peer Calls
Calls made between two IP clients without the intervention of a Proxy Server are defined as Peer-to-Peer Calls
(P2P calls). P2P call can be made from FXS and FXO port.
Generally, Peer-to-Peer application is used for making intra-offices calls. Maximum of 500 offices can be interfaced
using ATA211. Each office should possess ATA211 with a static IP address. The FXS port of ATA can be connected
to the FXO port of the PBX at each branch office as shown in the figure. The Peer-to-Peer table should be
programmed at each location with the number which is to be dialed and destination IP address of the gateway at
other locations, to be called.
