Matrix SETU ATA211 V1 System Manual 49
This screen shows a Peer-to-Peer table. By programming this table, the user gets away of dialing long and
uncomfortable IP address. This table serves as abbreviated dialing of IP numbers.
Total 500 entries can be programmed in the Peer-to-Peer table. This implies 500 locations can be
connected.
Each entry has following parameters viz. Name, Number and Destination Address. Refer chapter “Peer-to-
Peer Call Table” in Configuring SETU ATA211 for details about these parameters.
With reference to the figure shown, following programming should be done in the Peer-to-Peer table of
ATA211 at Location-A.
When the user 2001 dials 3001, a call is placed at IP address 190.1.1.100 since dialed number gets best
matched with the entry programmed at index 001. On receiving a call, the ATA211 at Location-B routes this
call to FXS port numbered as 3001.
Making P2P call: For making 'Peer-to-Peer' call at all the locations, the SIP account (SIP1/SIP2/SIP3)
should be configured as P2P trunk. This can be done by entering SIP Id provided by ISP or configuring as
'*' for that trunk in the Web page 'SIP Accounts ' (by default '*' is programmed). You should also enable the
desired SIP Account.
Receiving P2P call: To receive IC call on P2P trunk, at least one SIP account should be programmed with
'*' or SIP Id .The IC call will be routed to destination route FXS or FXO. Refer chapter “SIP Accounts” for
call routing options.
Refer topic “Making Calls” in this chapter 'Using SETU ATA211' for more information about making P2P
call.
Multi Stage Dialing through SIP and FXO
There are some applications where user needs to dial a fixed number string before dialing the actual number.
The ATA can be configured to take care for dialing the fixed number string every time when the actual number is
dialed through SIP account or FXO.
Index Number Destination Address
001 300 190.1.1.100
002 400 191.1.3.200
003 500 192.1.3.5
