2.4.2 Navigation Area
The Navigation Area provides access to the monitors functions. This area contains one row of tabs
and two rows of buttons. The buttons below the tabs vary based on the currently selected tab. The
buttons located within the Quick Functions tab are user-configurable and may be modified by
accessing the password protected System dialog. The bottom row of buttons is permanent and
cannot be changed.
NOTE: Refer to "Configuring the Quick Functions Tab" on page 26-4 for
additional information.
NOTE: If another tab is open in the Navigation Area and the touchscreen is idol
for 30 seconds, the system times-out and displays the Quick Functions
tab.

TABLE 2-2 lists the buttons and tabs available in the factory default Navigation Area.
Printer Spooling Indicates the printing job is in process.
Local Printer Door Open Indicates the recorder door is open.
Local Printer Out of Paper Indicates the recorder is out of paper.
Local Printer Unable to Print Indicates the recorder is unable to print.
AW Comm Lost Indicates the communication of Alarm Watch is
interrupted.
Incoming Alarms Blocked Alarm Watch Indicates the Watch information is currently shielded
by the open dialog box.
Network Communications Lost Indicates the network communication is interrupted.

BUTTON DESCRIPTION
Strip Initiates a single strip or a continuous strip print request.
Capture Event Saves an event to the event database.
History Accesses the Trends, Events, and Full Disclosure dialogs.
Audio Pause/Off Silences all current and future alarms for the configured time period.
If the configured time period is set to Permanent, the button reads Audio Off.
Alarm Acknowledge/Reset Silences the current alarms for the configured time period.
If the configured time period is set to Permanent, the button reads Alarm Reset.
Normal Screen Closes all dialogs and returns to the Main Display.
