Gases (Optional) Gas Dialog
NOTE: If the Gas Module cannot zero, sample, or calibrate, a message “Zeroing
Error”, “Sampling Error” or “Calibrating Error” displays and the
previous calibration data is restored. Repeat the calibration procedure
from step 3. If problems persist, contact Mindray for technical support.
5. Attach the calibration gas canister to the regulator and turn it on. Increasing gas values appear
in the window when the Gas Module samples the calibration gas. When calibration is complete,
the message “Choose Accept” displays and the message “Complete” displays beside each
measured value.
6. Select the Ab
ort or Accept button.
•The Accept button accepts the calibration values.
After a successful calibration, the message “Disconnect Calibration Gas” displays, followed
by the message “Calibration Successful”.
Following an unsuccessful calibration, the message “Di
sconnect Calibration Gas” displays,
and the message “Calibration Error” displays beside each measured value.
•The Abort button cancels the calibration and restores the previous calibration values.
NOTE: To avoid premature emptying of the gas canister, always remove the
regulator at the end of the procedure.
2.2.5 Zeroing Manually
Select the Zero button at the bottom of Gases dialog to manually zero the gases.
2.2.6 Restarting the monitoring
When the Gas Module 3 detects a prolonged issue, such as occlusion, then it may turn off the pump
to protect the device and stop monitoring. Select the Start Pump button to restart the monitoring.
