4.5.1 Name plate

The name plate is in the control cabinet of the motor-drive unit.

4.5.2 Gear motor

The gear motor is on the head of the on-load tap-changer. It is connected di-

rectly to the drive shaft of the on-load tap-changer and carries out the on-

load tap change operation. The gear motor is delivered pre-installed with the

on-load tap-changer and does not normally have to be uninstalled.
