User Definable External Text
The drive contains a number of external fault inputs. You can custom define the
text associated with these inputs, which will be used on the alarm screen and the
fault mask screens. To define the text, use the up/down arrow keys on the SETUP
screen to select the 'External Text' option and press the [enter] key. A screen
typical of Figure 128
will be seen.

To modify the text attached to a particular fault input, use the [cursor up] and
[cursor down] keys to select the desired input. To modify the text, press the
[cursor right] key. (If nothing happens then you have not gained the required
access to make changes. Exit to the SETUP screen and refer to the section
entitled Enter/Modify an Access Level
on page 116 to gain access). The first
character position of the string will be in reverse video as shown in Figure 129
.
Refer to the section entitled Edit Text
on page 114. When editing is complete,
the screen will appear as in Figure 130
.
