REP 6.7.1 Rotary Auger (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black)

Removal
NOTE: This page describes how to disassemble the Magenta Rotary Auger.
WARNING
Turn power off and disconnect the power plug.
CAUTION
Be careful not to touch the seals or mating surfaces of the rotary dispense parts. Contamina-
tion by skin oils can cause toner problems.
NOTE: Since a large amount of toner overflows during this proc
edure, use a plastic bag to
recover the overflowing toner to prevent contaminating the work area.
1. Remove the following parts:
a. Development Housing (REP 6
.6.1)
b. Toner Cartridge Cover (PL 6.2 I
tem 7)
c. Trickle Toner Bottle (PL 6.5 I
tem 23)
d. Cover Assembly (PL 6.5 It
em 18)
e. Remove the Front Door Interlock Cover (PL 9.
1)
2. Remove the Toner Cartridge Unit (REP 6.2.
1).
3. Remove the bracket (Figu
re 1).
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Release the clamp and remove the wire.
3. Remove the screws (2).
4. Remove the screws (2).
5. Remove the bracket.
