To perform the operator’s check you will need the following:

A known good cable such as the one that was supplied with your analyzer.
The cable you use should have

of insertion loss from 1.3 to 3.0

A known good load (> 40

return loss) that matches the test
port impedance of your analyzer such as one from calibration kit
