Measuring
Transmission
Response
This section uses an example measurement to describe how to calibrate for
and make a basic transmission response measurement. In this example, a
bandpass
filter
like the one that was supplied with your network analyzer is
used.
Enter
the
Measurement
Parameters
Press
(m’
on the analyzer to set the analyzer to the default mode which
includes measuring transmission on measurement channel 1.
NOTE
This example measurement uses the default instrument parameters for a transmission measurement. If
your ‘particular transmission measurement requires specific parameters
(such
as frequency range, source
power level, number of data points, and
sweeptime)
enter them now
