10.4.10 Replacing the ink filter
1. Open the printhead housing. Refer to subsection 10.4.2.
2. Disconnect the ink filter from the printhead ink tube by turning the couplings anti-clockwise.
3. Disconnect the ink filter from the ink supply tube by turning the filter anti-clockwise.
4. Place the new filter by performing instructions 3 and 2 in reverse direction. While performing step
2, twist the ink tube before connecting the filter to the printhead ink tube, so there is no tension on
the connection and tubing after the new ink tube is connected.
5. Wipe the printhead frame clean in case of spilled ink.
6. Close the printhead housing. Refer to subsection 10.4.3.
7. Prime excessive air from the system, refer to subsection 10.4.4.
8. The printer is now ready to print.
10.5 Updating firmware and software
The firmware and software can be updated, see paragraph 9.2.6.
