8.5 Re-filling the ink reservoir
1. Pause the printing process.
2. Put on protection gloves and use safety goggles for personal protection.
3. Clean and remove any dust from the top of the ink reservoir.
4. Take an ink bottle and cut off the end, which is indicated with a ring, of the spout top (Fig. 8.19).
CAUTION:
Use ONLY Kortho GJ inks in 200 ml bottles [X18 / X18+ / X54 / X72] or 100ml bottles [X18si],
see also the indicator on the reservoir.

5. Open the ink reservoir by unscrewing the screw cap (Fig. 8.20) counter clockwise. Put the screw cap
aside at a clean place.

6. Place, without spilling ink, the ink bottle upside-down into the ink reservoir fill opening (Fig. 8.21).
7. Squeeze the ink bottle gently until it is empty. The status LED of the coding unit, on the screen of
the controller, will change from orange to green.
