4.5Disassembling the fork legs
Info
The operations are the same on both fork legs.
The only difference between the two fork legs lies in the piston ring of the piston rod, which is only mounted on the left fork
leg.
Condition
The fork legs have been removed.

– Clamp the fork leg in the area of the lower triple clamp.
Info
Use soft jaws.
– Remove locking cap .
– Remove preload bush .

– Remove spring .
– Unclamp the fork leg.
– Drain the oil.
– Remove dust boot .

– Clamp the fork leg with the axle clamp.
– Remove screw .
