7.1Removing the exhaust manifold
Warning
Danger of burns The exhaust system gets very hot when the vehicle is driven.
– Allow the exhaust system to cool down. Do not touch hot components.

– Remove springs .
Spring hooks (50305017000) ( p. 144)
– Remove screw .

– Remove screws .
– Remove the exhaust manifold.
7.2Installing the exhaust manifold

– Grease the O-ring of the exhaust manifold.
Long-life grease ( p. 140)
– Position the exhaust manifold.
– Mount springs .
Spring hooks (50305017000) ( p. 144)
– Mount and tighten screw .
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
