17.18Installing the stator

– Position the stator.
– Mount screws but do not tighten yet.
Guideline
Screw, stator clamp M5 6 Nm (4.4 lbf ft)
– Position cable support sleeve .
17.19Adjusting the stator/rotor distance

– Adjust the distance between stator and rotor using special tool .
Guideline
Distance between rotor/stator 0.35 mm (0.0138 in)
Feeler gauge (59029041100) ( p. 146)
– Tighten screws .
Guideline
Screw, stator clamp M5 6 Nm (4.4 lbf ft)

– Mount lock ring .
17.21Installing the reed valve housing, ignition coil, and intake flange

– Position reed valve housing in the engine case opening.

– Mount and tighten screws .
