17.4Installing the primary gear

– Position the O-ring.
– Mount washer .
– Mount spring washer.
– Position primary gear .
– Mount nut but do not tighten yet.
Guideline
Nut, primary gear M10x1.25 40 Nm

17.5Installing the clutch bearing

– Mount collar sleeve and needle bearing .
17.6Installing the kickstarter shaft

– Position kickstarter spring and hook it in at area .
– Mount washer .
– Hook the kickstarter spring into kickstarter shaft .
The kickstarter spring is spring-loaded by turning the kickstarter shaft clock-
wise.
– Insert the kickstarter shaft into the engine case and let it engage.
17.7Installing the centrifugal force clutch

– Position the centrifugal force clutch .
17.8Tightening the nut of the primary gear
300730-10
– Hold the clutch in place with special tool .
Gear segment (45229081000) ( p. 143)
– Tighten nut .
